Why we made it
Most online crosswords recycle a small word list, and most translated ones read like translations. We wanted puzzles that feel written by a local author — and that stay new no matter how many you solve.
How the words are written
An AI model writes words and clues directly in each language, following a style guide by native speakers: the grammatical forms crosswords use, the spelling norm, the way clues are phrased in that language's puzzle tradition.
Every word then passes automatic checks — the right alphabet, one real word, no clue that gives the answer away — and a second AI acting as an editor. Players' reports retire anything that slips through.
How the grids are built
The grid itself is built by code, not by the AI: an algorithm fits the words together so every letter belongs to a real word with a clue. That is what keeps every puzzle fair.
